Hiya, everybody! 
I’m finally coming down off my Halloween high (reluctantly 
), and figured I’d post a few pics of my various costumes, since quite a few folks have been asking about them. Be warned, though: The photo quality is quite crap-tastic, as my phone is not the best for pic taking. I was hoping some of the pics my friends took whilst we were out and about would be more post-worthy, but alas, it would seem that shots taken by drunkards don’t fare much better.
I had 5 costumes this year. My favorite was probably Slutty Haruhi Suzumiya, just bc I’ve never done that one before (and I love that show ). Unfortunately, none of those pics came out well (which might be a good thing, actually, bc it means I can wear it to my next anime con & not feel like I recycled it ).
So, moving on to…
Costume #2: Elektra.
She’s one I’ve done a lot before, but remains one of my faves (mostly bc I get to carry my sai around and wear ridiculously high fetish boots). Also, my BFF, who is a non-nerd, put together a really cute Matt Murdock costume just to make me happy, so I had to match him.
Costume #3: Zombie Katy Perry.
Ok, ok…I know it’s rather lame zombie makeup. But this one was just for fun, and I kinda just threw it together last minute. It’s the one I wore to take my son trick-or-treating. (And yes, I still go trick-or-treating myself…What of it?? Dem Snickers bars is waaay tastier if you earns dem by lookin’ all fancy-like. ) I know you can’t see the whole outfit, but I had on brightly colored platform heels, gloves, bangles, etc. I’m sure no one knew what I was supposed to be without my telling them, but I had fun with it, which is all that matters, really.
Costumes # 4 & #5: Reruns from last year. Pout.
I try not to do the same costume(s) 2 years in a row, but my main costume was supposed to be body paint. When that got canceled last minute, I had to dip into my previously used well to bring back Slutty Supergirl and Slutty Raphael (which gave me a reason to carry my sai again, at least ). Here are pics from last year, just to remind you. Imagine, if you will, that they looked pretty much the same this year (minus the crazy drunk/partied out thing I’ve got happening in the SG one ).
And, just for the heck of it, here’s me with a random Leatherface I ran into somewhere in Hollywood (who turned out to be a really sweet and talented rapper-type guy…Who knew? )
Aside from my Halloween shenanigans, I also made a quick run to the first annual Comikaze Expo last weekend here in LA. I feel a lil bad bc I went directly there after a bondage shoot and had to go to another gig right after, so I only had about an hour to wander around. 
Bc of the time crunch, I wasn’t really able to cosplay, so I just threw on a bunch of my Superman stuff and called myself a Superman Superfan. (Not terribly creative, but it worked for this relatively small event. ) It looked something like this:
I feel bad, too, bc I was just trying to do a quick in and out (ha! ) at the event, but ended up running into a bunch of really sweet fan-type guys who recognized me (both from my geeky Kasey stuff, and my harder Diana stuff). They were all so nice that I was obliged to take pics with them, even though I was VERY tired from my shoot, and fear I must’ve looked an awful mess (having done my hair/makeup quickly in the car en route to the con ). If you read this, fellow con-goers, I sincerely apologize if I was in any way less than my dazzling best for you. I really appreciate all the kindness and support you showed, though, and will make it up to all of you if our paths should happen to cross at another con.
And, finally, my last bit of picture sharing is inspired by several emails I’ve received re. the movie Horrible Bosses. It would seem a lot of folks feel the look of Jennifer Anniston’s character might have been inspired by a doctor shoot I did for Brazzers some time ago. After seeing the movie this week, I suppose it’s definitely a possibilty, though it seems like a long shot. At the very least, though, I’d say I could portray her in a HB parody (which DEFINITELY needs to be made ). Here are some comparison shots for you:

Well, there you have it, my friends. I appreciate everyone who asked about my costumes, and I extra appreciate everyone who sent me pics of themselves dressed up. I love seeing how fun and creative you guys are! (And if I haven’t gotten to your Halloween email yet, be patient. I’m about halfway done with my October emails right now, so I’ll be running across it soon. )

PS- This is my Jack-O-Lantern from this year. It’s the first one I ever made by myself…It ain’t perfect, but I loves it!! (And was very sad when he had to be thrown out. Goodnight, sweet pumpkin…We hardly knew ye. )
